Sandwell Partnership is running the ‘Be Proud of Sandwell’ campaign to share the many things that make people proud to live and work in the 6 towns and to celebrate the big and the small stories, opportunities and achievements that we think we should be shouting about in Sandwell.
The Be Proud campaign has been launched to celebrate the people, places and prospects which make Sandwell a great place to live and work. By encouraging people to share their views and come to a series live events, the Be Proud campaign is also giving people opportunities to talk to the public sector service providers whose work affects everyday life in the borough.
So tell us what matters to you!
We want to collect and share the many stories that make Sandwell unique. Through this website you can fill in a Be Proud card, share your favourite photo or even upload a video clip.
But that’s not all. The Be Proud campaign has already been out to each of the 6 towns in Sandwell for a series of Be Proud of Your Town events, which were attended by over 2,000 people. You can listen to what happened at each event here including each of the Safer Sandwell ‘Face The People’ sessions, when key service providers for each of the 6 towns took questions from the public.
Also don’t forget to look out for details of where and when you can see the ‘Wall of Pride’ display from each town event in our news section.
